Community First
At Meta Mage Studios we strive to create not just exceptional games, but an excellent community too! One of the ways we do this is by making it easy as possible to access, hack, and build upon our games.

One of the things that set us apart from the rest of the ttrgp world is that ALL of our games are available to our community under a CC.BY.SA.4.0 license. Meaning anyone can use, build upon, and publish them to the rest of the community.
What is a CC.BY.SA.4.0 License?
In layman's terms this is a Creative Commons License.
This license let's other content creators use, spoof, build upon, change, or otherwise create their own content as long as they give proper attribution and also give their new works away for free too. Perpetually building the community.
What Does Meta Mage Studios Get Out Of This?
Meta Mage Studios still retains all of the rights to their intellectual property, logos, art, concepts and any attempt to pirate, resell, or otherwise monetize or infringe upon these rights without expressed written permission is strictly prohibited and protected by law.
What this breaks down to is - Meta Mage Studios can't attempt to sell community created products and the community can't attempt to resell Meta Mage Studios products, or the community created products either.
However, Meta Mage Studios can only sell our own product to the community (of which most are free anyway).
If you'd like to sell your own community created products using our intellectual property, logos, or other trademarks or copywrites, you can email use directly to discuss the possibility.
We want to work with the community as openly as possible while protecting our I.P.s. We are working towards solutions so that our community can eventually get paid for their contributions too in the future.
